I received carefully packed

I received carefully packed, healthy plants both times I ordered. I have purchased the Umbrella plant on lava twice now although one was a gift. I also know that friends have been so intrigued by this plant that they also have their own one now.

Absolutely loved the speedy delivery. True to its word, between 24 to 48 hours from order to your door. (Given its a weekday) The quality of the plants are great. Packaged really well. Minimal mess when unpacking. So far, managed to keep all plants alive bar 1.

First time user. I ordered this for my son and his girlfriend as a housewarming gift. So very nervous about sending such a delicate gift through a courier and not being able to choose the actual plant. It arrived very quickly after ordering, my son described it as ‘survived’, but to be honest what he knows about plants is limited, so the photo they sent was a much better sight than the description. Would love to share but wouldn’t know how, old lady alert ! Will use this company again as apparently they would love a house full of plants. Excellent !

Lovely healthy plants, really well packaged and delivered with care. The website is well organised so it’s easy to find the type of plant you are looking for (shade loving, pet friendly etc.). The QR code on the pot that takes you to the care advice is a useful touch too. I would recommend to friends and family.

Awful customer service

My order placed on 15th Aug finally arrived on 29th Aug. I emailed photos of the Mother of Thousands, it was rotted at the base & all the leaves had fallen off. Despite issues with the Couriers DX I requested another plant by a different courier ( Royal Mail) but customer service said that wasn't possible as they only used DX. I was offered a 35% discount & advice how to propagate the leaves !! Finally got a refund & that they had assessed my photos incorrectly. Will never use this company again. Beware !!!

Wish I knew about...

Wish i new about Hosueplant UK earlier as i have spent a lot of money online with other companies and found the quality a mixed bag. This is my first order but the plants I received are of excellent quality and the so incredibly wrapped. Delivery was a little frustrating with DX as they delivered to me the my buildings post boxes which ins't very secure and not my flat but i was notified with a picture of delivery so i was able to track it down.

Wow the Areca Palm really exceeded my expectations. It's bigger and looks fuller than it did in the pictures online. Arrived safely packaged and is settling in nicely. Looks amazing, very happy indeed.

Unfortunately my plant was a little damaged when it came and the soil had spilt, however the person delivering left it outside the next day when I wasn't in during the first time they tried so I was grateful for that and the instructions were helpful

Was so pleased with my plants from this company. They were in very good condition and packed very well to minimise breakage. I received the wrong plant in error and after emailing them , they were very quick to respond. Not only did they allow me to keep the plant sent in error, but sent the correct one straight away. Great communication! I would definately buy from this company again.

Perfectly packaged, no damage whatsoever. I waited a few days before repotting as suggested. They’re all now very happy indoors until the Spring when they can go out into the glasshouse to enjoy the sun and hopefully flower!

Packing is always very good, plants are always the finest quality, The only way you could improve the service, is to provide a descriptive Label with the plants, I always label my plants on arrival, it would be so better to have a nicely printed one.

Efficient all round!

I was really impressed with the ease of ordering & speed of delivery. The plants were packaged really well and securely. The plants arrived in good condition as though they had been watered a few days before so when they arrived the soil was damp but not dripping everywhere. I was also appreciative of the aftercare instructions and also advice on how best to acclimatise the plants to my home. Great job and I will be ordering again!

Good service and I am pleased with the plants, but with one plant the roots were so root-bound and twisted I had to spend a long time easing it out of the pot, and eventually had to cut it out of the pot. This would have caused stress to the plant.
