At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

This is such a lovely company. I've bought from them twice, and the first time one of my plants was damaged but they were lovely and talked me through what I needed to do. This time they delivered in the snow and the parcel came with a small heat pack to keep the plants warm :) They have such a supportive customer service team I actually cancelled an order with another 'express' company who had just been incredibly rude about taking 2 weeks to dispatch my order with no communication.
