Houseplant Size Guide
At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.
- All of our plants, unless otherwise stated are supplied in a nursery pot with the exception of air plants or lucky bamboo or otherwise listed in the product description.

I ordered a weeping fig and a spider plant. They arrived promptly and safely. I am delighted with my purchase. Highly recommend.
Truly amazing my plants arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The plants, four of them, had all been careful packed to protect their leaves and branches.
We are delighted with the ficus, delivered in good condition and it’s a nice shape.
All Good! Great little plants to add to a growing collection, look healthy, arrived as promised! What’s not to love ❤️

Pleasant surprise. It is a first company which has thought about everything. Even securing a compost in a pot, wrapping in paper. Absolutely first class service.

Snake Plant | Samurai Dwarf | Rare Plant ordered with other itemsGreat service, plant too big for pot though
Only thing that prevented a 5 star review was that the plant I ordered for my niece was too big for the (plastic) pot it arrived in. The roots were coming through the bottom quite heavily so it needed immediate repotting, which involved getting appropriate soil etc. Other than that though the service was great.

Snake Plant | Samurai Dwarf | Rare Plant ordered with other itemsArrived very quickly...
Arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. The mystery cuttings were lovely and varied - it would have been nice to have a list of what is what though, I’m still very much a beginner so I have no clue how to identify them, so they’ll remain a mystery until they grow lol. I am officially a plant addict!

Goods arrived in perfect condition. The plant was bigger than expected and very sturdy. Plan to order more The second order was just as satisfactory as the first. Suspect this may prove habit forming! Third time confirmed the good beginning. Plants are great.
