Tall, aromatic and wonderfully easy to grow, Siberian Catmint (Nepeta sibirica) is a hardy perennial that brings soft blue-lavender colour to garden borders, cottage gardens and wildlife-friendly planting schemes.
Unlike the lower-growing catmint varieties, this striking outdoor plant develops upright, branching stems topped with larger blue flowers during mid to late summer. Its scented green foliage and nectar-rich blooms make it a lovely choice for attracting bees and other pollinators.
Plant Siberian Catmint in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Once established, it requires very little attention and will return year after year. Deadhead faded flowers to keep the plant looking tidy, then cut back at the end of the flowering season or in early spring.

At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.
- All of our plants, unless otherwise stated are supplied in a nursery pot with the exception of air plants or lucky bamboo or otherwise listed in the product description.
