At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

Fun, fascinating and ideal for gifting, these adorable Scorpioides Sundews - also known as Shaggy Sundews - are a pygmy carnivorous variety admired for their distinct style, pet-friendly nature and wonderfully easy care. In the wild you'll find these exotic plants growing natively in Southwest Australia's Jarrah Forest, and their stunning silhouette is sure to attract both curiousity and fascination wherever they go. As carnivores, these are naturally great for catching insects so perfect if you're hesitant to use sprays, and with good care they have the potential to thrive for many years - regenerating their foliage every few months as part of their fascinating cycles. If you live in a mild area or coastal region in the UK, these can also be grown outside over Spring, Summer and early Autumn provided temperatures don't dip below 0°C!
