At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

This fascinating Alice Sundew Capensis plant - also known as Drosera Aliciae is a wonderful carnivorous perennial that is great for keeping your happy home free of flies! Native to South Africa, and easier to grow than a Venus Fly Trap, it has incredibly captivating, sticky leaves that provide it great visual versatility.
For optimal growth, ensure they receive full sun, use rainwater for watering, and maintain a well-draining acidic soil mix.
Did you know that many carnivorous species can be grown outside in the UK? This variety copes well in UK coastal and mild areas provided temperatures don't dip below 0°C.
