The Swiss Cheese Plant, sometimes known as a split-leaf philodendron is not actually a philodendron but a tough epiphytic vine that, when happy climbs like Jack on his beanstalk. The broad leaves split and have comedy cheese like holes appear as the plant matures. The 'Deliciosa' translates to 'delicious' referring to the edible fruit. The Genus, 'Monstera' is named from the Latin word meaning Monstrous.

This silky smooth Pothos resembles silver satin in the pale flecks on its rich green leaves. A trailing plant, this Pothos can be left to ramble, trail, climb or pruned to a desired shape.
