Living stones, Pebble plants or botanically known as Lithops are unusual little succulent plants that come in an array of colours. Native to Africa, they prefer drought like conditions, growing during the milder months of Spring or Autumn and sitting dormant in Summer and Winter. They have little stem above the soil and usually a long slender root that is significant in comparison to the main body of the plant. All of the living stones species have a daisy-like flower. The plant sheds its outer layer as a new layer emerges. Sold Individually.

The silver variegated Calathea is clump-forming with a reddish underside to the leaves and a wonderful shiny-silvery top. The deep green edging makes this a striking house plant. Seldomly, and only when truly happy, this unusual Calathea will throw up spikes of small white flowers.
