Houseplant Size Guide
At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.
- All of our plants, unless otherwise stated are supplied in a nursery pot with the exception of air plants or lucky bamboo or otherwise listed in the product description.

I ordered a weeping fig and a spider plant. They arrived promptly and safely. I am delighted with my purchase. Highly recommend.
Truly amazing my plants arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The plants, four of them, had all been careful packed to protect their leaves and branches.
We are delighted with the ficus, delivered in good condition and it’s a nice shape.
All Good! Great little plants to add to a growing collection, look healthy, arrived as promised! What’s not to love ❤️
This is the 2nd time I have sent gifts using this service. Everyone was delighted with the quality of the plants and pot. The delivery was just as required with a time slot.
Pleasant surprise. It is a first company which has thought about everything. Even securing a compost in a pot, wrapping in paper. Absolutely first class service.
Professional and efficient service, plants arrive promptly, well packaged and in pristine order, very healthy. Excellent value for money. Houseplant UK is the best online company I have found in this category.

Weeping Fig | Twilight | Hard To Find ordered with other itemsI have only ever been buying...
I have only ever been buying my plants from this site. They arrive so quickly and in such good health. I would say how many plants I have bought from here, but there are just too many. Delivery was fast and they were secure in packaging. I have only had a small issue once with my Hawaiian palm having two yellow leaves when it arrived but other than that it was healthy and I have never had that issue before so I'm sure its a one off. Will always be using these. I am looking often to see if they update their stock for new plants.

Weeping Fig | Twilight | Hard To Find ordered with other itemsPlant arrived in perfect......
Plant arrived in perfect condition, you can tell it was packed with care and the plant has been well cared for. It had lots of packaging which I would usually find annoying, but without it, the plant would have almost certainly been damaged. Thank you houseplant UK :-)
