Ceropegia Woodii
String Of Hearts | Woodii
Couldn't load pickup availability
A wonderful plant with heart shaped leaves gently cascading down delicate strands. During the Summer, quirky little funnel flowers that look similar to Chinese lanterns appear along the strands. The Ceropegia is easy to propagate so if you love to make plant babies for all of your friends this cute little plant is one for your collection.
Please note decorative pots are sold separately and your plant may naturally vary to that shown - smaller sizes will be younger so have less foliage on arrival. This variety is also prone to some stem and foliage loss when moving environments.

Houseplant Size Guide
At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.
- All of our plants, unless otherwise stated are supplied in a nursery pot with the exception of air plants or lucky bamboo or otherwise listed in the product description.

The String Of Hearts Woodii is celebrated for its unique cascading vines adorned with heart-shaped leaves. Its trailing habit and distinctive appearance make it a favourite for adding a romantic touch to any interior space.
What Is the History of the String Of Hearts Woodii?
The String Of Hearts Woodii, also known as the Rosary Vine, has its roots in South Africa. It gained its Latin name, Ceropegia Woodii, in honour of botanist John Medley Wood who discovered the plant in the late 19th century. Over time, it has become a popular houseplant worldwide, prized for both its aesthetics and ease of care.
Where Does the String Of Hearts Woodii Originate?
String Of Hearts Woodii is native to South Africa, specifically the region around Swaziland and Zimbabwe. In its natural habitat, the plant grows as a ground cover or trails along trees and shrubs, making it highly adaptable to different growing conditions.
Are String Of Hearts Woodii Toxic to Pets?
