At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

These captivating Silver Torch Cactis, also known as 'Cleistocactus Strausii' and the 'Wooly Torch' are sure to inspire with their easy care nature, evergreen perennial qualities, columnar shape - and undeniably, their distinct white spined stems! In the outdoors, these can be found in the mountainous regions of Bolivia so they're sure to spark conversation with their distinct appearance, they're a breeze to care for, and their pet friendly nature also means your furry friend can get up close to enjoy it, though just be wary they don't munch on the spines!
As an added bonus, these can also produce some lovely deep-red, burgundy flowers on the sides of their columns and near the tip once they're mature and tall enough!

A big old cactus is now hanging from my bedroom ceiling and I can't be happier. I will certainly be buying more plants but unfortunately you use DPD as your couriers and they seem to be solely staffed by people who ignore the multitude of 'this way up' stickers on the boxes and just throw your parcels around.
