At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

When I contacted the company to complain they responded quickly and I am happy with how the issue has been resolved. Chose a big plant for my daughter's birthday to replace one she had lost (guest's overwatering!) and she's thrilled. Very swift delivery thanks to the initiative of the driver and an obliging neighbour. In a hurry so maybe I didn't see an option to include a message nor a pot that would fit. No matter because she didn't need either but would be nice to see such options in the future.
