Epipremnum Pinnatum Aureum
Devil's Ivy | Golden Pothos
Couldn't load pickup availability
With pretty variegated emerald-green and golden yellow leaves that give this plant a lost treasure look, it's no wonder that this Golden Pothos is a popular trailing plant. The stunning colour combination just radiates optimism and clarity - perfect for inspiration in both work and personal life. Due to the Devil's Ivy nature to grow long vines, this plant would look great on shelves or as a hanging plant.
Please note decorative pots are sold separately and your plant may vary naturally to that shown depending on size selected and growth variance. This variety can be prone to some minor leaf concerns when moving environments, and each plant tends to be different, just like us! Looking for more Pothos plants? Click here!

Houseplant Size Guide
At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.
- All of our plants, unless otherwise stated are supplied in a nursery pot with the exception of air plants or lucky bamboo or otherwise listed in the product description.

What is the Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos Known For?
Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos, or Epipremnum Pinnatum Aureum, is renowned for its attractive, heart-shaped leaves that feature a mix of green and golden-yellow hues. This versatile plant is not only aesthetically pleasing but is also renowned for its air-purifying qualities. Its low-maintenance care requirements make it an ideal choice for both novice and seasoned plant owners.
What Is the History of the Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos?
This plant, commonly known as Devil's Ivy or Golden Pothos, originally comes from the Solomon Islands. The name "Devil's Ivy" was coined due to the plant's resilience and its ability to thrive in harsh conditions—traits that make it seem almost "invincible." It has been a staple in indoor horticulture for many years, often lauded for its air-purifying capabilities.
Where Does the Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos Originate?
The botanical origin of the Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos is the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. This plant is highly adaptable and has the ability to thrive in a variety of environments, from tropical jungles to indoor settings, making it a ubiquitous presence in homes and offices around the world.
Are Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos Toxic to Pets?
It's important to note that Devil's Ivy Golden Pothos is toxic to both cats and dogs if ingested.
