Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

We desperately needed some life in our rather dull office space and decided on a few large plants. This Areca Palm was one of our choices. The ordering process itself was painless, clear website and payment options. Delivery was scheduled via DX and arrived within the predicted window. Now, the packaging – impressive! A very tall, sturdy box, and inside the palm was cleverly secured with cardboard inserts and paper wadding, preventing any movement. Unpacking it felt a bit like revealing a prize. And what a prize! The plant is magnificent. Easily taller than advertised, incredibly lush, vibrant green fronds arching gracefully. There were perhaps one or two tiny brown tips, barely noticeable, which seems normal for shipped palms anyway. It has genuinely transformed the corner it sits in, making the whole area feel more welcoming and, dare I say, productive! Colleagues keep commenting on how lovely it is. The included care instructions were clear and concise. Based on this experience, Houseplant co uk is now our go to for office greenery. Worth the investment for this level of quality and careful delivery.

2 stars from me because they use the delivery company DX. Read the reviews here your self about DX, they're notoriously unreliable and impossible to contact. I recently ordered a small house plant and it's been delivered to Glasgow (I live in Edinburgh). Despite DX making the mistake it's apparently up to me to sort out the issue and reschedule delivery (2 days later than it should have been). God knows what state my poor plant will be in when it's finally delivered (if at all!)! I will never order anything again from Houseplants UK while they continue to use DX for their deliveries. Be warned!
