At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:
Plant Height:
Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.
Pot Size:
Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.
Choosing the Right Size
To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.
Important Notes
- Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
- If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.

I have only ever been buying my plants from this site. They arrive so quickly and in such good health. I would say how many plants I have bought from here, but there are just too many. Delivery was fast and they were secure in packaging. I have only had a small issue once with my Hawaiian palm having two yellow leaves when it arrived but other than that it was healthy and I have never had that issue before so I'm sure its a one off. Will always be using these. I am looking often to see if they update their stock for new plants.
