From fresh cuttings and young plants to established herbs, vegetables and flowering favourites, the elho Green Basics Grow Pot is a reliable choice for every stage of growth. Developed in collaboration with growers, it features drainage holes in the base to let excess water escape and encourage healthier, better-aerated roots.

Lightweight, durable and easy to move, it is suitable for use indoors, outdoors, on patios and balconies. The tough, weather-resistant design can handle everyday gardening life, while UV protection helps the colour stay looking its best in sunny spots. Pair with a matching saucer to catch excess water and help keep your surfaces tidy.

Made from 100% recycled plastic, produced using wind energy and 100% recyclable, this grow pot is a more considered choice for repotting, growing fruit and veg, or giving your houseplants more room to grow

Houseplant Size Guide

Plant height measurement: How we measure the height of our houseplants from pot to top

At Houseplant.co.uk, we want to ensure that you choose the perfect plant for your space. Here's how we measure our plants:

Plant Height:

Measured from the base of the nursery pot to the top of the plant, including the full length of the stem and foliage.

Pot Size:

Refers to the total width across the top of the pot.

Choosing the Right Size

To find the perfect fit, compare the diameter of your plant's grow pot to the opening diameter of your chosen decorative pot. Ensure the decorative pot is at least 1-3cm larger in diameter than the grow pot for easy insertion and removal.

Important Notes

  • Plant sizes are approximate and include the depth of the plant pot and roots, not just the height from the top of the soil.
  • If a specific plant size is not available, we may provide a larger plant at no additional cost to you.
  • All of our plants, unless otherwise stated are supplied in a nursery pot with the exception of air plants or lucky bamboo or otherwise listed in the product description.
